難點在于第二個句子和第一個句子之間的關系：1)“today”比較于“twenty years ago”;2)“the predictions”指的就是第一句里的“the author’s predictions”;3)第二句的“the author”可不就是第一句的author。于是，可以判斷兩個句子應該是描述了“今昔比較”，于是意識到“errors”，通過“comparing the predictions with actual events”(把當年的預測和如今的現實放在一起一比)，發現“the author”料事如神呀。
